Polls have closed in the St. Philip North by-election following a day of generally calm voting across the constituency.<\/p>

Voting began at 6 a.m. with all seven polling stations opening on schedule, and election officials reported that turnout was steady at times throughout the day, though activity at some polling locations remained relatively slow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The by-election was called following the resignation of longtime Member of Parliament Sir Robin Yearwood, ending a parliamentary career that spanned five decades. The two way race is between Alex Browne of the UPP and Randy Baltimore of the ABLP.<\/p>
