The online fundraiser, organized by his mother Claudette Armstrong, has set a goal of $5,000<\/strong> as the family seeks assistance with the cost of his ongoing treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armstrong said Howell collapsed after suffering kidney failure and a liver condition and is currently in a coma while receiving dialysis and life support in intensive care.<\/p>

Earlier appeals were also made for blood donations for Howell, with donors asked to visit the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre blood bank<\/strong>.<\/p>
