Ashworth O\u2019Brian Identified as Fourth Homicide Victim as Police Continue Investigations Into 2026 Killings<\/strong><\/p>

Police have identified the man found dead in the Gray\u2019s Farm community earlier this week as Ashworth O\u2019Brian<\/strong>, marking the fourth homicide recorded in Antigua and Barbuda for 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit Lisborn Michael<\/strong> said detectives are continuing to gather information as they investigate the circumstances surrounding O\u2019Brian\u2019s death. Authorities have begun interviewing several persons of interest as part of the ongoing probe.<\/p>

Michael said investigators remain committed to resolving the latest killing along with the other homicide cases recorded earlier this year.<\/p>

Nikisha \u201cNiki\u201d Rose\n\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

One of the earlier incidents involved the fatal shooting of 42-year-old Nikisha Rose<\/strong> of Parliament Street, Gray\u2019s Farm. Police said Rose and a male companion were travelling in a motor vehicle near the G&E Parking Lot in Michael\u2019s Village<\/strong> around 10:30 p.m. on January 23 when an unknown assailant opened fire on the vehicle. Both victims were taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre<\/strong> with gunshot wounds. Rose later died from her injuries, while the male victim remained hospitalised in stable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another homicide involved the fatal stabbing of Dalton Cornwall of Jennings<\/strong> on February 26. Cornwall was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre with a puncture wound to his right shoulder following an incident at the Valley Road Service Station<\/strong> around 4:15 p.m. He later succumbed to his injuries. Police later arrested a man from Green Bay who has since been charged with murder in connection with the case.<\/p>

Dalton<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In a separate investigation earlier in the year, police discovered the body of a man in the back of an abandoned Hyundai Tucson<\/strong> at the Old Ottos School compound<\/strong> on February 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deceased was found partially dressed, wearing blue jeans and black socks. A medical doctor pronounced him dead at approximately 2:25 p.m. Police later classified the incident as a homicide as investigators continued efforts to determine the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding his death.<\/p>
