At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, 5 March, officers attached to the Narcotics Department and Customs Enforcement Unit, carried out a coordinated operation at the LIAT Cargo Shed. During the exercise, two brown cardboard boxes were searched. The boxes contained thirteen (13) packages of cannabis, with a combined weight of approximately thirteen (13) pounds.<\/p>

No arrests have been made in connection with the seizure at this time; however, investigations into the matter are ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
