Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs, will travel to London, United Kingdom, from 8th to 10th<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

March, 2026, to participate in a series of high – level Commonwealth and UK – Caribbean<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Foreign Ministers engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister Greene will attend the 2026 Commonwealth Foreign Ministers Meeting (CFAMM)<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

on Sunday, 8th March, <\/strong>where he will moderate the Executive Retreat of Commonwealth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreign Ministers.<\/strong> During the meeting, the Minister will also provide an update on Antigua<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

and Barbuda\u2019s preparations to host the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

2026 <\/strong>(CHOGM), which will take place in St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, from 1st to 4th<\/p>\n\n\n\n

November 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst in London, the Minister is also expected to hold several bilateral meetings with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fellow Commonwealth Foreign Ministers to strengthen partnerships and advance support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for CHOGM 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, 9th March, Minister Greene will attend the Commonwealth Day Service of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celebration at Westminster Abbey, followed by the Commonwealth Day reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, 10th March, the Minister will participate in the Twelfth UK – Caribbean<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreign Ministers\u2019 Forum,<\/strong> which will bring together Ministers of Foreign Affairs and senior<\/p>\n\n\n\n

government representatives to discuss issues including trade, climate resilience,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

financing for development, development partnerships and regional security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the Foreign Minister will attend a Heritage Evening hosted by the High<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commission of Antigua and Barbuda in London, where he will meet members of theAntiguan and Barbudan diaspora. The event will also be attended by Their Excellencies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, and Lady Sandra<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams, along with Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s CHOGM Envoy, cricket legend Sir Vivian<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister Greene noted that the visit will help advance Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s diplomatic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

priorities while building momentum toward the successful hosting of CHOGM later this<\/p>\n\n\n\n

year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAntigua and Barbuda looks forward to engaging with leaders and strategic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

partners from across the Commonwealth in November. These engagements<\/p>\n\n\n\n

provide an important opportunity to strengthen partnerships and update colleagues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

on our preparations as we work to deliver a successful and impactful CHOGM,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the Minister said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation will include Her Excellency Karen-Mae Hill, High Commissioner to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United Kingdom; Ms Chantal Phillip, Minister Counsellor; and Messrs. Brent Scotland and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caleb Gardiner, Second and Third Secretaries, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antigua and Barbuda will host the Commonwealth\u2019s premier summit for the first time when<\/p>\n\n\n\n

leaders of the 56 member states gather in November under the theme \u201cAccelerating<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partnerships and Investment for a Prosperous Commonwealth.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n
