The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) is refuting claims made by George Wehner, the United Progressive Party representative for St. Peters posted on Facebook on Wednesday 4th, 2026 regarding weeks of uncollected garbage.<\/p>

On that day, collection services in the Seatons\/Glanvilles areas experienced delays as a result of one of the Authority\u2019s drivers calling in sick. In order to maintain service, another driver assumed responsibility for completing the scheduled route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collection operations began at approximately 1:45 PM and continued until 5:17 PM, at which time operations were suspended because the truck had reached its full capacity. At the time when operations were paused, two roads remained uncollected. These areas were subsequently serviced the following morning.<\/p>
