Workers at the Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Services (ABS) have been told to report to work, clock in and then leave the premises until further notice due to serious health and safety concerns at the state-owned media house.<\/p>

The directive was issued by the Antigua Trades and Labour Union (AT&LU) after a shop steward alerted the union on Monday to worsening conditions inside the building, including visible mold and a strong odor. The situation reportedly escalated after weekend flooding, raising fears of contamination and health risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Union representatives conducted a walkthrough and have called for an air quality test to determine whether the facility is safe. The measure has disrupted normal operations and highlights the severity of the concerns.<\/p>
