ABEC Waives Replacement Fee for Lost Voter Identification Cards<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>

The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) wishes to inform the general public that, effective Friday, 27th<\/sup> February 2026<\/strong>, the replacement fee of EC$100<\/strong> for lost but valid Voter Identification (ID) Cards will be waived.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible voters who have lost their valid Voter ID Cards may have them replaced free of charge<\/strong> at the Commission\u2019s Headquarters located on Queen Elizabeth Highway.<\/strong><\/p>

This initiative forms part of ABEC\u2019s ongoing efforts to ensure that all eligible voters have convenient and equitable access to a VALID voter\u2019s ID as well as to strengthen electoral participation and the further integrity of the democratic process.<\/p>

Electors seeking a replacement card are reminded to present a valid form of identification and any documentation that may assist in verifying their identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
