Two Arrested Following Seizure of Firearm and Ammunition at Mc Pond<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, 17 February 2026<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Police have arrested two individuals following the execution of a search warrant at a property in the Mc Pond area late Monday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 10:45 p.m. on Monday, 16 February 2026, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in Mc Pond.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

During the operation, they discovered and seized two (2) 9mm pistols, four (4) magazines, one (1) weapon holster, one (1) speed loader, and a quantity of 9mm rounds of ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 31-year-old male and a 25-year-old female were arrested on suspicion of Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, and were taken into custody pending further investigations.<\/p>

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda continues to intensify efforts aimed at removing illegal firearms and ammunition from communities and safeguarding public safety.<\/p>

Police are encouraging anyone with information relating to illegal firearms or other suspicious activities to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or anonymously call Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
