In the heart of the ongoing civil war within the United Progressive Party (UPP), the airwaves crackled with tension as Joan, their most popular radio host on UPP\u2019s Progressive Radio, persisted in her unabashed feud with MP Hon. Kelvin Simon. Her voice, a mix of defiance and determination, resonated with the listeners of Progressive Radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Hon. Kelvin Simon should not worry about me,” she declared passionately, “but rather about winning his seat in St. Mary South!” As Joan laid out her grievances against the MP, who has long been apart of a civil war within the UPP since its last convention.<\/p>

On the air, she accused Kelvin of going behind her back, alleging he had complained about her to the party leadership, effectively stifling her right to speak freely as a voter. “I am a voter!” she emphasized, and she will speak without fear or favour. She asked if the Hon Kelvin Simon ever defended her when he sits on the knight on night show.<\/p>

Joan didn\u2019t stop there. She condemned his alliance with Mr. Knight on Observer, where they openly criticized the leadership of the UPP. “How can we move forward when our own members are tearing each other down?” she questioned, her concerns turning into a rallying cry for unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As she delved deeper into the conversation, she pointed out Kelvin\u2019s absence from critical party events, highlighting his failure to connect with his branch members. “He\u2019s missing in action!” Joan exclaimed, painting a picture of an MP disconnected from the very people he vowed to serve. She also claims whispers grew among Kelvin\u2019s branch members discussing the prospect of voting for his opponent, a prospect that sent ripples of fear through the MP’s camp.<\/p>
