Police Continue Investigation into Body Found at Old Ottos School Compound<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, February 3, 2026<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a male body on the compound of the Old Ottos School shortly after midday on Monday, February 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased was discovered in the back of an abandoned Hyundai Tucson motor jeep.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The individual was found partially dressed, wearing long blue jeans and black socks, and without a shirt.
The body was pronounced dead at approximately 2:25 p.m by a medical doctor, who arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police are now treating the matter as a suspicious death and are actively working to ascertain the full identity of the deceased, as well as the circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/p>

The police are appealing to anyone who may have information that could assist with this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3931, or call Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).<\/p>
