The government says it will move to demolish several derelict, state-owned buildings in St. John\u2019s as part of a wider effort to clean up and renew the capital.<\/p>

Speaking on the Browne and Browne programme on Pointe FM over the weekend, Rawdon Turner<\/strong> said the initiative will include buildings owned by the state, as government intensifies enforcement alongside private-sector compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turner said government agencies have already been directed to clear out affected properties, with demolition work expected to follow as part of ongoing urban renewal efforts.<\/p>
