Development site, marking a key milestone in The Next Chapter of cruise tourism in Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>

The competition invites Antiguans and Barbudans at home and across the diaspora to propose a name for<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

the new Quay, which will join Heritage Quay and Redcliffe Quay in St John\u2019s harbour, as part of the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

permanent landscape of Antigua Cruise Port.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This initiative offers a unique opportunity for the people of Antigua and Barbuda to help shape the next<\/p>\n\n\n\n

chapter of the country\u2019s cruise tourism story by proposing a name that reflects our cultural identity,<\/p>

heritage, creativity, and future vision for cruise tourism.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Competition Guidelines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Open to all Antiguans and Barbudans locally and across the diaspora<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Each submission must include a brief explanation (maximum 100 words)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Proposed names must be original and not currently in oicial use in Antigua and Barbuda<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Names should reflect national culture, heritage, identity, and a future vision for cruise tourism<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Final selection rests with the Antigua Cruise PortJudging Criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submissions will be assessed based on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Reflection of Antiguan and Barbudan culture and identity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Clear meaning and strong symbolism<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Originality, distinctiveness, and respectfulness<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Ease of pronunciation and timeless appeal<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Suitability for permanent public use<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand prize winner of the \u201cName the Quay\u201d competition will receive a cruise trip for two, offering an<\/p>\n\n\n\n

opportunity to experience the newly opened cruise terminal firsthand as part of an unforgettable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

homeporting cruise experience from Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
