Nearly four years after fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi was allegedly abducted from Antigua and Barbuda and later found in Dominica, police have provided no public update on the status of the investigation, leaving key questions unanswered.<\/p>

Choksi has claimed he was lured, assaulted and transported by boat to Dominica, alleging the involvement of foreign operatives and private intermediaries. While aspects of those claims are now being examined in courts abroad, authorities in Antigua and Barbuda have not announced any arrests, charges, findings or even confirmed whether the probe remains active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a new police commissioner now in office, calls have resurfaced for clarity on whether a crime was determined to have occurred on Antiguan soil and whether the investigation has been reopened, reviewed or reassigned.
