Police Arrest One Man in Connection with Aggravated Robbery<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, January 27,2026<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Police have arrested one man who is assisting with investigations into an alleged aggravated robbery that occurred in the Gunthorpes area on Monday, 26 January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports indicate that around 8:00 a.m., two male suspects allegedly entered a business establishment and used a knife to rob the proprietor of a knapsack containing cash and other personal documents.<\/p>

The suspects reportedly fled the area, and the stolen bag was later recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, 27 January, police executed several search warrants at multiple locations in St. John\u2019s as part of the ongoing investigation.<\/p>

One man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery and taken into custody.
