St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda Tuesday, January 20, 2026<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The police have arrested a male suspect in connection with an alleged robbery at Enzo\u2019s Restaurant, located at the junction of St. John\u2019s Street and Popeshead Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports indicate that around 2:20 a.m. on Monday, January 19, two male suspects entered the restaurant while an employee was at the cash register.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

One of the suspects, described as being approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, slimly built, dressed in a green hoodie, short pants, and wearing a mask, reportedly pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the employee, while a second suspect allegedly jumped over the counter and robbed the owners of a Samsung A25 cellular phone valued at $1,000, along with a cash pan containing an undisclosed sum of money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both men reportedly fled the scene on foot in an eastern direction.<\/p>

Police officers promptly responded to the scene and carried out a search of the immediate area.<\/p>

A male suspect of Villa was arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of robbery. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police are appealing to anyone who may have information that can further assist with this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) or the nearest police station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
