St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, January 9, 2026<\/p>

The police have intensified their crime-fighting efforts on the sister isle of Barbuda, with the execution of several search warrants on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A joint team of officers from the mainland and on Barbuda conducted coordinated operations at multiple residences.<\/p>

During the exercises, two mobile phones were seized, and two individuals were arrested on suspicion of larceny and taken into custody at the Barbuda Police Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police Administration remains committed to proactive policing and sustained operations across both islands to ensure safer communities. Investigations remain ongoing.<\/p>
