De Fete,\u2019 the vibrant performer is excited to re-establish herself in Trinidad and Tobago ahead of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carnival 2026.<\/p>

Set to hit the ground running in the weeks ahead in T&T, the entertainer says her return to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

spotlight this year, comes after much personal reflection and decisions made on her brand, and<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

who she wanted to be as she moved forward. \u201cMy motivation in this business is life,\u201d said the<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

singer, affirming that she believes her journey in the industry can help others. \u201cSinging soca music –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

performing, is something I\u2019m very passionate about and I want to positively encourage those<\/p>\n\n\n\n

looking on at my story, and my journey. I want them to see that even through the highs and the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

lows, I have been resilient and I keep pushing,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent time, Tizzy has been working dedicatedly on her sophomore album, \u2018Jus Ah Come,\u2019 \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n

something that she is proud to have branded solely as her accomplishment as an artiste. \u201cAll of the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

songs that I released before this album were under ElAkru Music. These new songs are all available<\/p>\n\n\n\n

on all streaming platforms and I must thank my ElAkru Music family for their support and of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

course my husband Rohan Hector, who is both my manager and producer,\u201d she shared. The<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ElAkru Music team remains a consistent part of Tizzy\u2019s musical journey. \u201cAs a team we\u2019ve gone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

through the highs and lows of the business but we\u2019ve never stopped believing. Once you find<\/p>\n\n\n\n

something that you love and you know who you are, then you will keep doing it and you won\u2019t find<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it worrisome. It won\u2019t be work alone; it\u2019ll also be fun,\u201d she said with excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trinidad and Tobago\u2019s carnival, the most anticipated highlight of the regional and international<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carnival calendar, Tizzy, like many other regional artistes, is eager to meet and interact with the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

people who enjoy Soca music. \u201cSoca is a powerful, energetic genre. It\u2019s an expression of what it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

means to be a Caribbean person. We work 365 days of the year and we look forward to this music-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

these vibrant songs to release our inhibitions, at least once every year,\u201d she pointed out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her two singles, \u2018Fire Marshall\u2019 \u2013 written by Emerge Media and \u2018Freak in De Fete,\u2019 which was<\/p>\n\n\n\n

written by Barbados\u2019 Jus D, are true expressions of Tizzy\u2019s untamed energy. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to a great carnival 2026 and beyond,\u201d she said, highlighting that 2025 has already been very good to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

her, following the love she received during Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s carnival. \u201cI released three songs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that were all well received in Antigua. \u201cBig Ben,\u201d \u201cCharge Up\u201d and \u201cWhen Last,\u201d which featured<\/p>\n\n\n\n

T&T\u2019s Viking Ding Dong, got a lot of love throughout the season. I couldn\u2019t have hoped for<\/p>\n\n\n\n

better. I think it was the launch for greater things,\u201d said the artiste.A strong relationship built over the years with bands in T&T like Destra and Atlantik and even D<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Starz, Tizzy feels at home in Trinidad and Tobago. She recently stopped in for a few days,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

making the rounds to radio stations to release her music. Following that, Tizzy has since unleashed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the new video for \u2018Freak in De Fete\u2019 and says she plans on unleashing two brand new Power Soca<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tracks in the days ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
