Several Persons in Police Custody for Questioning<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Sunday, December 28, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than a dozen persons <\/a>have been arrested and taken into police custody for questioning over the Christmas holiday period.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The police executed a number of search warrants across several communities and seized various calibre rounds of ammunition, mobile phones, one 9mm magazine, a ballistic vest, a laptop computer, quantities of United States and Eastern Caribbean currencies, vehicle licence plates, and several items of clothing suspected to be stolen.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the police recovered a motor vehicle<\/a> that was reportedly stolen during a robbery at Cashew Hill<\/a>.
Investigations into these matters are currently ongoing.<\/p>

The Police Administration continues to intensify its efforts to combat crime and maintain public safety, and thanks members of the public for their continued cooperation and support.<\/p>
