Prosecutors relied on circumstantial evidence, including testimony from Thomas\u2019 daughter, forensic evidence showing death from severe head injuries, and recovered video footage allegedly showing Forbes with the victim\u2019s belongings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defense attorney Sherfield Bowen called no witnesses and argued the investigation was flawed, citing missing forensic evidence, conflicting testimony and unpursued leads. He urged jurors to find the case had not been proven beyond reasonable doubt.<\/p>
