Browne made the announcement during the presentation of the 2026 national budget on Thursday, calling the upgrade one of the most important administrative reforms planned for the new fiscal year. According to the Prime Minister, the government will undertake a \u201cstructural reform and modernization of the Treasury Department\u201d<\/strong>, a move he said will streamline operations and enhance oversight of how public funds flow through the system.
