A third Antiguan baker has been shortlisted for the 2026 Caribbean Baking Awards, strengthening Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s presence at the regional competition.<\/p>

Gabrielle Thomas has been nominated for Pastry Chef of the Year. She said she was \u201cdeeply grateful\u201d for the recognition and thanked her family, friends and community for their support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas joins fellow Antiguans Timoy Titus and Lana Williams among this year\u2019s nominees. Titus, owner of Teez Delights, is up for Best Cake Designer \u2013 his third consecutive nomination \u2013 while Williams, who runs The Purple Rose Batter, has been shortlisted for Innovative Baker of the Year.<\/p>

The awards will be held in Saint Martin from 24\u201326 July 2026. Nominations close on 1 February, with public voting starting on 7 April.<\/p>
