St. Peter MP Rawdon Turner toured the Gunthropes community on Thursday, meeting residents along damaged roadways as longstanding infrastructure problems continue to disrupt daily life.<\/p>

Turner said he wanted \u201copen and honest\u201d conversations with the people affected, noting that despite some concrete paving already completed, major upgrades are still needed. Residents echoed that view, pointing to sections that remain in poor condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public Works officials, including the minister and director, joined the visit and reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to finishing the project. They said repairs will continue in phases, starting with the worst-affected areas.<\/p>
