Gambles Man Charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Ammunition<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Monday, 16th November 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police have arrested and charged 28-year-old Sedeki Akelo Andre of Gambles with multiple firearm-related offences.<\/p>

Around 2:00 a.m on Sunday, November 16, Narcotics Officers were conducting an operation on Perry Bay Main Road, when they saw the accused and carried out a search his person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was found in possession of a Taurus 9mm Pistol and Seven (7) matching rounds of ammunition.
He was arrested and taken into custody and is now charged with unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition.
He is expected to appear before the court to answer the charges.<\/p>
