The Ministry of Trade, Agriculture, Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs<\/a>, under the leadership of the Hon. E.P. Chet Greene<\/a>, is inviting the public and key stakeholders to participate in a National Stakeholder Consultation<\/a> on the proposed Price of Goods Bill<\/a>, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This modern legislation is intended to repeal and replace the outdated Distribution and Price of Goods Act, Cap. 138, bringing Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s pricing <\/a>and consumer protection framework in line with current economic realities.<\/p>

The consultation will take place on Monday 24th November at 10am <\/a>within the Parliament Building<\/a>, Queen Elizabeth Highway, St. John\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proposed Bill forms part of the Government\u2019s comprehensive efforts to strengthen consumer rights, promote transparency, and ensure a fair marketplace.<\/p>
