Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle used a United Progressive Party motorcade on Sunday to intensify calls for an independent investigation into the Ministry of Works, arguing that the public has been misled about the scale of alleged financial irregularities.<\/strong><\/p>

Pringle told supporters that Prime Minister Gaston Browne had \u201ctold us that his wife ministry was involved in a $15 million scam,\u201d referring to the controversy surrounding the government\u2019s purchase of more than 200 vehicles. He said that if such an admission came directly from the prime minister, \u201cit’s a lot worse than he’s telling us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
