Senator Michael M. Joseph and Information, Communications Technologies, Utilities and Energy Minister Melford Nicholas visited Cooks Extension and Golden Grove Extension on Friday to meet residents facing more than 15 years without APUA water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents said the ongoing shortage stems from the land developer\u2019s failure to deliver the required infrastructure, leaving households without access to running water for over a decade. The walkthrough gave community members an opportunity to share their experiences directly with the officials.<\/p>

The visit formed part of what Senator Joseph described as the government\u2019s renewed commitment to extend reliable water access to every community in Antigua and Barbuda. He said both Minister Nicholas and Prime Minister Gaston Browne have pledged to resolve the long-standing infrastructure gaps affecting the area.<\/p>
