Green Bay Man Charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Ammunition<\/em><\/p>

Police have arrested and charged 37-year-old jamala Joseph of #3 George Street, Green Bay for the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, following a stop-and-search operation in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 1:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, officers attached to the Grays Farm Police Station were responding to a report in the Green Bay community when they intercepted a vehicle on George Street. During the search of the vehicle, officers discovered one .25 Beretta pistol and two rounds of .25 ammunition.<\/p>

Joseph was arrested and taken into police custody. He was later formally charged with Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda continues to take a firm stance against illegal firearms and remains committed to removing illegal weapons from the streets to ensure the safety of all residents.<\/p>
