History-making Team Antigua Island Girls invites the public to experience Uncharted Waters <\/em>\u2014 an intimate evening of emotion, endurance, and extraordinary storytelling as they recount never-before-shared moments from their record-breaking 2023 Pacific Ocean crossing.<\/p>

The event will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the John E. St. Luce Financial and Conference Centre.<\/strong> <\/strong>Showtime is at 7:15 p.m., <\/strong>but guests are encouraged to arrive from 6:00 p.m. to enjoy a truly experiential pre-show.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors can tour Dadli Gyal<\/em>, the boat that carried the team across 2,800 nautical miles of the Pacific Ocean over 47 days. Sample the dehydrated meals that sustained the rowers at sea, capture photos, and support the concession stalls before and after the main presentation. Take a chance or two in the raffle, for which the prizes include dinner for two at Jumby Bay.<\/p>

Following the feature presentation, the team will host a live question-and-answer session, providing guests with an opportunity to engage directly and learn more about their life-changing journey. The evening concludes with photo opportunities and one- on-one conversations with the rowers.<\/p>

Tickets are $150 for adults and $50 for youth under 16 years old. Get your tickets from the Ticketing app, Ken\u2019s Club in Cassada Gardens, Kennedy\u2019s in Powell\u2019s, or SICON at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All proceeds from Uncharted Waters <\/em>will support the establishment of a home for girls in conflict with the law, continuing the team\u2019s commitment to empowerment and positive change.<\/p>

The <\/strong>Team<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The powerhouse quartet\u2014Christal (author and swim instructor), Elvira (health and wellness coach), Kevinia (personal trainer and team captain), and Samara (Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s first female boat captain)\u2014form Team Antigua Island Girls, the first all- Black team ever to row across any ocean.<\/p>

The Races<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

In 2018\u20132019, the team made history in the Atlantic Challenge, rowing 3,000 nautical miles from San Sebasti\u00e1n de La Gomera, Canary Islands, to Nelson\u2019s Dockyard, Antigua. In 2023, the trio of Christal, Kevinia, and Samara took on the World\u2019s Toughest Row\u2014 Pacific, <\/strong>traversing 2,800 nautical miles from Monterey Bay, California, to Hanalei Bay, Kauai, Hawaii.<\/p>
