Police Investigate Wounding Incidents Involving Students<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Thursday, 13th November, 2025<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Police are investigating two separate wounding incidents involving students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, two separate fights broke out between a group students on High Street.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the first incident, a 16-year-old male student reported that he was attacked by a group of about six other students while walking with friends. He sustained wounds to his left arm and temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a separate incident, a 17-year-old male student was similarly attacked by a group of students in the same area. He received a wound to his right arm. Both victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigations remain ongoing into both incidents.<\/p>

The Police Administration is expressing serious concern over rising violence among students and is urging parents, guardians, and the wider community to become more involved in guiding and monitoring young people. The public is encouraged to support the police in addressing this growing issue and to report any behaviour that may lead to violence.<\/p>
