The Department of Environment will host Arbour Day 2025<\/a><\/strong> on November 27<\/strong> under the theme \u201cBuzzing with Power \u2013 Planting Trees<\/a> for a Climate-Smart Future<\/a>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual tree-planting event will begin at 9 a.m.<\/strong> on the Department of Environment (DOE<\/a>) Lawn<\/strong>, encouraging residents to play their part in environmental conservation and climate resilience.<\/p>

A wide variety of fruit trees will be available for purchase, including coconut, custard apple, raspberry, soursop, guava, and pomegranate. Plant bags will be sold for $2.50 each<\/strong>, and participants can exchange two bags for a tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to plant sales, the event will feature music, food and drinks, prizes, and climate change workshops<\/strong> designed to raise awareness about sustainable living and reforestation.<\/p>
