In a statement released on Thursday, the Antigua-based organisation<\/a> expressed \u201cheartfelt solidarity and prayers<\/a>\u201d for people in Jamaica, Cuba<\/a>, and other affected territories. <\/p>

The statement noted that the destruction of homes, schools, and livelihoods serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need for accessible disaster response systems and inclusive climate resilience planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHurricanes such as Melissa highlight the shared vulnerabilities of our Caribbean family and the growing threat of climate change that disproportionately impacts persons with disabilities,\u201d the organisation said.<\/p>

Good Humans 268 Inc. also reflected on its recent regional visit in September 2025, during which it met with disability advocates, environmental organisations, and youth-led initiatives across Jamaica and other Caribbean islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisation said these partnerships, rooted in \u201cshared values of empathy, resilience, and collaboration,\u201d reinforced the belief that recovery efforts must be inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven.<\/p>
