Dear Editor,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus declared, \u201cI am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.\u201d Those words should be the foundation of our faith. Yet today, many believers are left wondering, has the Church lost its way?<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

There was a time when the Church stood apart from the world, a refuge for the weary and a guide for the lost. But now, the line between sacred and secular seems to have vanished. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Too often,\u00a0we hear of pastors, church leaders and members caught in scandal, fraud, sexual misconduct, adultery, and hypocrisy. These are not just headlines or another news article, they are heartbreaks that\u00a0shake the faith of those who once looked to the pulpit for truth.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We condemn our young people for drifting away, but can we really blame them when they feel judged, excluded, and disillusioned by those who are supposed to lead by example? Inside some churches, gossip replaces grace, and judgment overshadows love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How, then, can we point others to \u201cthe Way, the Truth, and the Life\u201d if those appointed to lead us are walking in darkness themselves?<\/p>

We are quick to\u00a0accuse politicians of misusing public funds, but are we just as vigilant about how our tithes are spent? <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Too many faithful members have watched their 10% of salary go toward luxury cars and personal indulgence, rather than ministry and community outreach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s time for the Church to take a hard look in the mirror. If it mirrors the world, who will lead the lost back to God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
