Officials at the event included Acting Prime Minister Sir Steadroy Benjamin, Dominican Republic Ambassador Yolanda Alexandra Victoria, Consul General Joaqu\u00edn D\u00edaz L\u00f3pez, Chief Immigration Officer Katrina Yearwood, and other senior officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The department confirmed that enhanced security measures were in place due to the attendance of high-ranking government and diplomatic representatives, describing them as consistent with international best practices.<\/p>
