Teen Remanded to Rehabilitation Centre on Multiple Traffic Charges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 17-year-old male has been remanded to the Denis Bowers Rehabilitation Centre<\/a> after appearing before the Child Justice Board earlier this week on a series of traffic-related offences<\/a>.<\/p>

The Antigua and Barbuda teenager <\/a>is charged with driving without a valid driver\u2019s licence<\/a>, operating a vehicle without insurance coverage, and the fraudulent use of a registration plate.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He is to remain in custody until November 17, when the case is expected to be heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police said the offences occurred on October 13 and involved a white 2011 Honda Fit that was intercepted during operations in St. John\u2019s aimed at tackling crime. Following an investigation, the teen was taken into custody and charged over the weekend.<\/p>
