Authorities have officially ended the search for boat captain Philippe Daniel Jules, who went missing after reportedly falling overboard while sailing from Antigua to Dominica on Tuesday night.<\/p>

Jules was at the helm of the vessel when the incident occurred around 11 p.m. Reports indicate he lost his balance after ducking to avoid a swinging sail during strong winds. Despite immediate rescue efforts by those on board, he disappeared beneath the waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vessel was diverted to Guadeloupe, where it remains docked as authorities carried out search-and-rescue operations across nearby waters. After several days of aerial and marine searches, officials have now confirmed that the effort to locate Jules has been suspended.<\/p>
