Students at The University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus (UWI FIC) have launched a new digital newsletter, The Frigate Post<\/em>, designed to showcase campus life, creativity, and student achievements.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The initiative, led by the UWI FIC Guild\u2019s Publications Committee, aims to provide a platform \u201cmade by students, for students,\u201d according to committee members. The newsletter features a mix of content, from sports highlights and event recaps to opinion pieces, art, and photography contributed by students across the campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe goal was simple: to connect the campus community through storytelling while highlighting the talent and creativity of our students,\u201d the committee said. \u201cWe wanted to create something fun, engaging, and informative, where every student could see a bit of themselves reflected.\u201d<\/p>

Each issue of The Frigate Post<\/em> is carefully curated, written, and edited by a team of student volunteers who dedicate hours to ensuring accuracy, quality, and creativity. The publication also features lighter content, including a \u201cJoke of the Day,\u201d reflecting the vibrant and dynamic life of UWI FIC.<\/p>

Since its launch, the newsletter has grown into a campus tradition, capturing the energy and spirit of the student body while offering a space for students to share their voices and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
