Dominica is paying tribute to Julius Timothy, a veteran politician and businessman who died on Sunday after years of battling heart disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timothy, who once led the Finance Ministry and later served as Minister of Health, was widely regarded as a steady and pragmatic figure in public life. He also represented Dominica as Non-Resident Ambassador to Mexico.<\/p>

Before entering politics, Timothy built a strong reputation in the private sector as president of the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce.
