The outgoing Chief Commercial Officer of LIAT Lloyd Carswell says there is no bad blood between himself and the LIAT CEO Julie Reifer-Jones.<\/p>

Antigua News Room broke the news of Carswell\u2019s resignation this week, and in an email today he confirmed \u201cyes, I resigned on the 22nd of May.\u201d<\/p>\n

But he denied reports that he\u2019s at odds with the company\u2019s CEO saying, \u201c It is not due to any wrangling or difference in opinion with the CEO.\u201d<\/p>

He admitted, \u201cI am aware my timing is not great, but there is never a good time for an executive to leave a company.\u201d<\/p>

Carswell says he resigned because his family is being resettled in a new country ahead of the new school year.<\/p>\n

The CCO said he is working during his period of notice and has extended it to help with the transition.\u00a0 \u201cI have additionally committed to working with the CEO and the interim CCO (to be appointed) once I have left Antigua.\u201d<\/p>
