Cabinet Notes- <\/strong>The Honourable Minister for Health briefed Cabinet<\/a><\/em> on developments at the newly opened\u00a0Tranquility Park Cemetery<\/a><\/strong>, following recent heavy rainfall<\/a> during which more than\u00a0nine inches of rain<\/strong>\u00a0fell within a\u00a024-hour period<\/strong>, resulting in significant waterlogging <\/a>at the site.

The Minister further reported that the\u00a0St. John\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Valley Church Cemeteries<\/strong>\u00a0were also affected by flooding due to the intensity of the rainfall.

In response, the Ministry sought Cabinet\u2019s approval for the\u00a0installation of a drainage system.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0The\u00a0Prime Minister and Cabinet approved the request\u00a0<\/strong>and directed the Minister to proceed expeditiously with the necessary works to address the challenges identified at the cemetery.<\/p>
