The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service <\/a>has issued a Flash Flood Watch<\/a> in effect from 6 a.m. to 12 noon today, with the possibility of an extension.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The advisory covers Antigua<\/a>, Barbuda, Montserrat, St. Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla, and the British Virgin Islands, as a frontal trough continues to bring heavy showers and thunderstorms across the northeastern Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Met Service, some areas have already received up to two inches of rainfall, with an additional two inches or more possible within the next 12 hours.<\/p>

Officials warn that moderate to major flooding is possible, particularly in low-lying and flood-prone areas. Residents are urged to remain alert, avoid flooded roads, and prepare to move to higher ground if conditions worsen or if a Flash Flood Warning is issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
