The Ministry of Tourism and Investment is calling for secondary school students between the ages of 14- and 17-years old to register for the 2019 National Tourism Youth Congress.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

One<\/g> individual will be selected as the Junior Minister of Tourism and will go on to represent Antigua & Barbuda at the Caribbean Tourism Organization\u2019s (CTO) 2019 Tourism Youth Congress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CTO\u2019s\nYouth Congress is a competitive regional activity where students from CTO\nmember countries are given the opportunity to compete against their peers at\nthe highest level. The Caribbean Tourism Youth Congress is an integral part of\nCTO\u2019s annual tourism conference and aims to stimulate greater awareness and\nexcitement about tourism among young people in our Caribbean communities, by\nallowing them to research various facets of the tourism sector and share their\nideas and vision with respect to the future direction of Caribbean tourism.<\/p>

The\nYouth Congress is structured to mirror the CTO Board of Director\u2019s meeting and\narticipants are required to come prepared to share their knowledge and views\nwith fellow Junior Ministers of Tourism and Commissioners of Tourism from\nacross the region on Smart Travel Experiences within the Caribbean Region,\nEquipping Our Youth to Thrive in a Changing Tourism Environment and Making\nExcellence a Habit in Caribbean Tourism; Additionally, the 2019 Tourism Youth\nCongress participants will be asked to address a mystery question. <\/p>

In\nlight of this, the Ministry of Tourism and Investment extends an invitation to\nall public and private secondary schools to register one participant in the 2<\/strong>019 National Tourism Youth Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
