Heavy rain from Tropical Storm Jerry has triggered widespread flooding across Antigua, with residents reporting rising waters from St. John\u2019s to Bolans, All Saints, and Clare Hall.<\/p>

Motorists described difficult driving conditions Friday morning as drains overflowed and several roads became partially submerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service said Jerry has moved northwest of the Leeward Islands, but moisture trailing the system continues to produce heavy showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>

A flash flood advisory remained in effect until 8 a.m. and could be extended if rains persist. Forecasters warned of up to two inches of rainfall in the coming hours.<\/p>
