Citizens of Panama can now travel to Antigua and Barbuda without a visa, Prime Minister Gaston Browne announced Thursday, describing the change as \u201can oversight corrected.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Browne made the announcement during the credential ceremony for Panama\u2019s new ambassador, Ana Irene Delgado.<\/p>

\u201cJust as our people can visit Panama freely, so too can Panamanians now travel to Antigua and Barbuda without a visa,\u201d he said.<\/p>

The reciprocal visa waiver is expected to boost tourism, investment, and cultural exchange between the two nations. The Prime Minister noted the long-standing ties between Antiguans and Panamanians, tracing back to the early 20th century when many Caribbean nationals worked on the Panama Canal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambassador Delgado welcomed the decision, calling it a positive step in strengthening economic and diplomatic cooperation.<\/p>
