St. Paul MP and Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene<\/strong> has announced plans to expand healthcare services in his constituency with the construction of new eye and dental clinics<\/strong> near the recently reopened Cobbs Cross Clinic.<\/p>

Speaking at Monday\u2019s reopening ceremony, Greene said the government is in the process of acquiring adjacent land<\/strong> to support the project, which will bring specialized care closer to residents of St. Paul, English Harbour, Falmouth, Cobbs Cross, and Piccadilly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are now looking to acquire parts of land adjacent to this one for the construction of an eye health clinic and a dental clinic,\u201d Greene said. \u201cTrust me, English Harbour, Cobbs Cross, Falmouth, Piccadilly, St. Paul \u2014 the best is yet to come.\u201d<\/p>

The planned facilities form part of a broader initiative to decentralize healthcare and ensure that residents in southern Antigua have easier access to diagnostic and preventive services.<\/p>

Greene said the new clinics will complement the fully modernized Cobbs Cross primary health facility, which reopened after being closed since 2003. He described the project as another demonstration of the government\u2019s long-term investment in the well-being of local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis investment is for the people,\u201d Greene said. \u201cWe are committed to expanding the quality of healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that every community has access to the services it deserves.\u201d<\/p>
