Two men accused of involvement in a violent confrontation at Sanderson Estate earlier this month have been released on bail pending further court proceedings.<\/p>

The defendants \u2014 Brian Benjamin, 59, of All Saints, and Bryan Benjamin, 32, of Swetes \u2014 appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel, who set the next hearing for December 4, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charges stem from an October 1 altercation on a farm that left two men nursing gunshot wounds. Both Benjamins are jointly accused of assault, wounding, and battery against Jace Farrell. In addition, Brian Benjamin is charged with shooting with intent to murder Simon Farrell, while Bryan Benjamin faces a separate count of using threatening language.<\/p>
