Police Search for Suspect in Attempted Robbery<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda<\/a>, Tuesday, October 7, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Antigua and Barbuda police<\/a> are seeking the public\u2019s assistance in identifying and apprehending a male suspect involved in an attempted robbery<\/a> at a convenience store located at the junction of Temple and New Streets.<\/p>

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports indicate that at approximately 9:54 a.m., a lone male entered the establishment armed with what appeared to be a firearm<\/a>.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The store owner quickly raised an alarm, causing the assailant to flee the scene on foot along New Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect is described as being dark in complexion, slimly built, and approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, a pair of short blue jeans, a black and red tam, a pair of black rubber slippers with white stripes, and an orange mask covering his face. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was also carrying a black knapsack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in identifying or locating this individual to contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913, 911, or the nearest police station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
