Over 13 Pounds of Cannabis Seized at Deep Water Harbor<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, October 3, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police and Customs <\/a>have made another significant drug seizure at one of the nation\u2019s main port of entry.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, officers attached to the Narcotics Department, K-9 Unit, and Customs conducted a joint drug operation at the Deep Water Harbor Custom Cargo Shed.<\/p>

During the search, a brown cardboard box with fourteen (14) vacuum-sealed packages containing the controlled drug cannabis<\/a> was discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The packages were transported to Police Headquarters, where they were weighed and amounted to thirteen and a half (13\u00bd) pounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The estimated street value of the seizure is $81,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police Administration commends the continued efforts of the Narcotics Department, Customs Enforcement, and other supporting agencies in their fight against the trafficking of illegal drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
