Residents across the Caribbean are being urged to remain vigilant as meteorologists track multiple tropical systems in the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently monitoring Hurricane Gabrielle over the central subtropical Atlantic, issuing regular advisories on the storm\u2019s progress.<\/p>

Meanwhile, two additional systems are showing signs of potential development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first, a tropical wave approximately 1,000 miles east of the Lesser Antilles, is moving west-northwest across the central and western tropical Atlantic. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Forecasters say conditions are favourable for the system to strengthen into a tropical depression later this week. The NHC has assessed a 50% chance of formation within 48 hours and a 90% chance within seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A second system, located east of the Leeward Islands, is producing widespread showers, thunderstorms, and gusty winds across much of the Windward and Leeward Islands. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected to spread to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands tonight and Wednesday. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The disturbance may turn northwest near the Bahamas later this week, with a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression over the next seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities are urging residents in the Leeward Islands, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamas to closely monitor updates from local weather services and take necessary precautions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
