Prime Minister Gaston Browne says his government will spend about $2 million over the next month to provide building materials for vulnerable families, part of a plan to accelerate home repairs under the Housing Assistance Program.<\/p>

Browne made the announcement on his weekly Browne and Browne Show<\/em>, saying funds have already been allocated and orders for supplies are being placed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe just made about $1.4 million available last week, and we may take another probably $600,000 from another facility. So we intend to spend about $2 million within the next 30 days to acquire building material,\u201d Browne said..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
